Inkrewsive hip hop crew is made up of young Melburnians who experience disability. The crew have been producing original songs, music videos and performances for the last 10 years and are making an impact on the national and international hiphop stage.
The crew have collaborated with local and international hip hop artists Keith Jones, Krip Hop Nation (USA), Motley (UK),Cissy (India) and many more. They’ve made themselves known on Channel 10’s TheProject, SBS TV, ABC Radio and Jetstar’s inflight magazine. They’ve perform at many of Melbourne’s best hip hop events as a part of the local scene.
Inkrewsive use their artistic platform to make clear that disability comes from society, not from who they are. They use their music to reduce stigma and injustice associated with disability and they are not afraid to tell some home truths, spitting rhymes about discrimination, human rights, relationships, independence to name a few.
Witness the crew this November at Ability Fest!
